Naguib Pasha Mahfouz

Naguib Mikhail Mahfouz is known as the father of obstetrics and gynaecology in Egypt and was a pioneer in obstetric fistula.

Mahfouz was born to a Coptic Christian family onJanuary 1882 in the city of Mansoura in the delta of Egypt.
